What do I need to arrange before my Note Array is installed?
Whoever hangs the Notes, a few things always sit with your team. Having them done before installation day keeps everything on schedule.

Electrical |
An outlet for each Note, on a dedicated circuit, installed by a licensed electrician |
How many Notes can share a circuit? and How do I plan power outlets for a Note Array? |
|
Structural backing |
Wood studs or blocking behind the full array. Each Note weighs 16.5 lb (7.5 kg).
A plywood panel secured to the studs or blocking also works, and gives every wall plate a flat surface. |
|
|
Network cabling |
An Ethernet connection for each Note. Wi-Fi works too, but we recommend Ethernet for arrays. |
These stay with your team even when our installers or your integrator handle the mounting.
What ships with each Note
- A low-profile wall plate, plus screws and anchors
- A self-adhesive wall template, printed at actual size
- A 19.7 in (0.5 m) power cord for your region
Recessed outlets need straight C5 cords, which are sold separately. See How do I plan power outlets for a Note Array?
Who can install the Notes
-
Our team: We can handle mounting, precise leveling, display pairing and final setup. Your array is ready to use when we leave.
-
Your integrator or contractor: They work from the wall templates and our installation articles, and we support display pairing remotely. Send them How do I lay out a Note Array with the wall templates? and How do I mount and hang a Note Array?
-
Your own facilities team: Smaller arrays are well within reach of an in-house team. Follow the same two articles, and book time with our team if you'd like a second set of eyes.
Before installation day
- The template from every Note's box is saved and with your installer.
- Outlets are in, on their circuit, at the locations marked from the templates.
- Backing is in place behind the full footprint, or your panel is built and ready to hang.
- Your IT team has confirmed the network can take every Note.
- An Ethernet cable is run to each Note's position, if you're going wired.
- You know which account will own the array, so every Note can be paired to it. See How do I set up and activate a Note Array?
